1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Polle platform ("Service"), operated by Sheep Meadow Road Games Oy ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Helsinki, Finland. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. The Service

Polle is a marketplace platform connecting buyers and vendors of horse-related products and services. Polle also provides tools for managing horse syndicates, including shareholder management, voting, events, and payments.

Polle acts as a platform and intermediary — we are not a party to transactions between buyers and vendors.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use most features of the Service. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Not share your account with others
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Marketplace

Vendors

Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of their product listings, pricing, and descriptions. Vendors must comply with all applicable Finnish and EU laws regarding the sale of their products and services, including consumer protection regulations.

Buyers

Purchases are made directly from vendors through the platform. Delivery terms are agreed between the buyer and vendor. Polle is not responsible for the quality, safety, or delivery of products sold by vendors.

Payments

Online payments are processed securely by Stripe. Polle charges a service fee on marketplace transactions as described on the seller information page. Vendors may also offer invoice or cash payment options.

5. Syndicate Tools

The syndicate features allow horse ownership groups to manage their shared horses. Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of information they enter about their syndicate, including shareholder details and payment information. Polle does not verify or guarantee the accuracy of syndicate data.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post on the platform (posts, comments, messages, media). By posting content, you grant Polle a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the Service as necessary for its operation.

You agree not to post content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the Service without permission
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Polle is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Polle is not liable for disputes between buyers and vendors, or between syndicate members. We encourage parties to resolve disputes directly and are available to assist where possible.

9. Account Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at info@polle.fi. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
